Why this matters now
AI tools are already in classrooms and adoption is increasing. Students and teachers are using them, with or without guidance.
And Teacher Tapp’s Digital Barometer shows most aren’t reaching for tools built for education. They’re defaulting to generic AI tools.
That creates a real question for educators: how do we ensure AI supports learning, rather than shortcutting it?
When used well in schools, AI can power effective learning, helping students engage more deeply with evidence, challenge assumptions, and build critical thinking skills.
This webinar brings together expert knowledge on AI in education and Up Learn’s own evidence on how technology can drive measurable progress.
What we’ll cover
- How AI can support, not replace, critical thinking in schools
- How and when to question AI outputs for accuracy, evidence, and bias
- Practical ways to use AI to support deeper learning in your classroom
- Understanding the value of human expertise and why it remains central
- How educators and learning providers can guide responsible AI use
- How Up Learn uses AI to make a measurable difference to student outcomes
