Francesca Germer

After completing her Masters in Natural Sciences, Fran spent a year teaching and assisting in Maths, Science and Art lessons as a teaching assistant at Bradfield College. This inspired her to return to Bath University to complete her PGCE in Secondary Mathematics. She taught for 2 years at Clarendon Academy in Trowbridge and then North Bridge House Canonbury in London for 5 years. During the lockdown of 2020 she successfully moved her entire teaching timetable online and discovered her passion for online education, leading her to Up Learn.

Outside of work, Fran can usually be found rehearsing and performing musicals, playing board games and doing escape rooms.
