UP LEARN WEBINAR

Helping students to manage exam anxiety

Understanding, recognising and supporting students in KS4 & KS5

In the build-up to GCSE and A level exams, exam anxiety can become a significant challenge for many students, and for the teachers and school leaders supporting them.

This evidence-based webinar is designed to help schools better understand, identify and respond to exam anxiety, with practical strategies that can be applied immediately in school settings.

What you’ll learn

In this session, Professor David Putwain explores:

  • How exam anxiety can be identified in students
  • How common severe exam anxiety really is
  • How exam anxiety affects attainment, wellbeing and mental health
  • What schools and teachers can do to support highly exam-anxious students
