How to Get Started with Up Learn using Wonde

This guide is intended to help the data manager at your school navigate the Up Learn onboarding process. If that’s you and your school is currently using Wonde, it would be helpful to log in and set up your Wonde portal before beginning.

How to Use Wonde to Upload Classes and Students to Up Learn

Welcome to Up Learn! We’re thrilled to have your school on board. To ensure a smooth integration and get your classes up and running, we’ll be using Wonde, a secure data management tool that speaks directly to your school’s data. Follow the steps below to enable onboarding your student information seamlessly.

Before we onboard your school, we would like to meet with the Up Learn lead and data manager to discuss the two possible ways to upload: Wonde or via Self-Serve CSV. This discussion will take place in the mandatory launch call with your School’s Success Manager. The launch call must take place before the onboarding process can begin. Step-by-Step Guide to Using Wonde for Up Learn Integration

  1. Access Wonde:
    • Go to the Wonde portal at Wonde.
    • Log in with your credentials. If you don’t have access, please contact your school’s IT Department.
  2. Preparing Data for Sync:
    • Make sure your class and student data in your school’s MIS (Management Information System) is current and accurate.
    • Verify student details such as names, year groups, and class codes.
  3. Confirm connection with Wonde:
    • After logging in, navigate to the ‘Approvals’ section.
    • Confirm the data categories (e.g., Students, Classes, Teachers) Up Learn needs access to.
    • Confirm the approval process. This will then inform Up Learn you are ready to sync. 
  4. Verification:
    • Once you have approved, we will action the configuration over a 48 hour period, and then confirm via email once the sync is completed.
    • Log into Up Learn to check that all classes and student data have been uploaded correctly.
    • If there are any discrepancies, re-sync your data in Wonde or contact your IT Department for assistance.

  • General Queries: For questions related to the integration or further assistance, reach out to your Up Learn School’s Success Manager or your school’s IT Department.

How to Use CSV to Upload Classes and Students to Up Learn

Alternatively, you are able to upload your students via CSV. If after your launch call with your School’s Success Manager this is determined to be the best approach, you will be sent a CSV template for yourself or a colleague to complete with the relevant details and returned. 

Afterwards, on the pre-arranged date the accounts will be activated and welcome emails sent. You will now be able to move students between courses yourself using the self-service tools on the teacher dashboard.

Please be aware that if you want to add or remove student Up Learn accounts with this method, you will need to contact your School’s Success Manager to action these requests.
