Results Day at Excelsior Academy: "It Really Empowers Us"
On results day, Excelsior Academy's teachers and students shared what a year of Up Learn looked like, from smashed topic tests to starred maths grades.
Teachers described how weekly monitoring turned into targeted support: spotting exactly which questions students were getting wrong, then either addressing gaps in class or letting students steer their own revision. "It's a way of them communicating with us," one teacher said. "It gives us information that we might not have on them."
Students echoed the impact, praising the topic questions for letting them drill down on weak spots, and the exam-style papers for mirroring what actually came up on the day. One student credited Up Learn directly for their A* in maths.
