From Medicine offers at UCL to record-breaking Maths results, our partner schools have shared some brilliant news this results day. We've pulled together some stories, stats and standout moments from across our network, with a focus on the subjects we offer: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, Psychology and Economics.
The Crossley Heath School, Halifax
Headteacher Dean Jones celebrated a cohort defined by both academic excellence and, in his words, kind and courageous character.
One story stood out: Paarth, who achieved A* A A and is off to study Medicine at Lancaster University, thanked his school for introducing him to Up Learn as he felt 'that it really was a big contributor' to his success in earning his top grades and subsequent university offer.

North Liverpool Academy
North Liverpool Academy's students had a brilliant results day, with offers spanning Medicine, Dentistry and Mathematics at some of the country's top universities, including Imperial College London, the University of Liverpool and Liverpool John Moores University.
- Seif – A* A* A* A in Maths, Physics, Further Maths and Chemistry, heading towards a career in Mechanical Engineering
- Sharon – A* in Maths and Further Maths, plus an AEA (an advanced Level 3 qualification for top maths students), studying Mathematics at Imperial College London
- Maya – A* A* A in Biology, Chemistry and Psychology, studying Medicine at the University of Liverpool
- Richard – A* A* A* in Biology, Chemistry and Maths, studying Medicine at the University of Liverpool

Walthamstow Academy, London
Walthamstow Academy's Year 13s had a brilliant results day, securing offers in Medicine, Psychology and Criminology, International Relations, and Economics, Finance and Data Science at some of the country's top universities, including UCL, King's College London and Imperial College London.

- Taef – A* in Psychology and Aomics, studying International Relations at King's College London
- Sharifa – A* A A in Economics, Maths and Psychology, off to Imperial College London to study Economics, Finance and Data Science

- Nahla – A* A* A in Biology, Chemistry and Maths, studying Medicine at UCL

Bobby Moore Academy, London
Bobby Moore Academy, part of the David Ross Education Trust, celebrated its strongest KS5 results to date, with offers secured in Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering and Biological Sciences at Warwick, Queen Mary and Imperial College London.
- Arham – A* A* A A including an A* in Maths taken a year early in Year 12, studying Mathematics at Warwick University
- Estevao – A in Maths and B in Physics, studying Mechanical Engineering at Queen Mary University of London
- Raees – A A A, studying Biological Sciences at Imperial College London
- Over 22% of grades were A or A*
- Over 23% of scholars are progressing to Russell Group universities
Principal Sarah Donnelly said proud didn't do justice to how she felt about the cohort, praising their dedication, ambition and resilience after seven years at the academy. CEO of the David Ross Education Trust, Simon Rose, added that the results reflected the hard work of both students and staff over the last few years.

St Augustine's, Worcestershire
St Augustine's shared a strong set of results with a wide mix of Russell Group university destinations, from Law to Accountancy to Policing. Some highlights include:
- Ethan – A* A A B, studying Mathematics at the University of Warwick
- Olivia – A A A C, studying Physics at the University of Warwick
- Darcey - A*AAB - Law at University of Warwick
- Sam - AAA - Environmental Science at University of Birmingham
- Millie - AAA - Law at University of Birmingham

Oasis Academy South Bank, London
Oasis Academy South Bank had its best results ever this year, placing in the top 10% of Sixth Forms nationally on the Alps 2 measure.
- 27% of grades were A*–A, with 90% at A*–C
- 46% of maths grades were A* or A
- Four students secured medicine or veterinary places, with three achieving A* A* A*
- Destinations include Exeter, King's College London, Bristol, the LSE, Birmingham and UCL

Mercia School, Sheffield
Mercia Collegiate Sixth Form opened in 2023 with the aim of delivering an academic education for ambitious students in Sheffield, and this results day marked only its second cohort.
- 25% of grades were A*, with an average grade of A
- 70% of students progressed to Russell Group universities, including 8% to Oxford or Cambridge
- 14% of students are progressing to medicine or dentistry
Assistant Headteacher Mr D M Ridler said the school's job was to match students' ambition with expert teaching and high expectations, and that this year's results showed what young people in Sheffield can achieve with the right support.

Burntwood Sixth Form, London
Burntwood Sixth Form's Year 13s are heading to a range of excellent high education destinations this year, including Physics at UCL, Neuroscience at King's College London and Psychology at Manchester, alongside Accounting and Finance at Southampton and a range of degree apprenticeships.

Lord Grey Academy, Milton Keynes
Lord Grey Academy celebrated another outstanding year of A Level and vocational results. Principal Samantha Satyanadhan said the school achieved its highest number of top grades yet, alongside really strong vocational outcomes, crediting the achievement to the students' ambition and resilience, the dedication of staff, and the support of families and the wider community.
- Nearly 20% of the cohort achieved A*/A at A Level
- University places secured at Nottingham, Bristol and Exeter
- Apprenticeships secured at Merkur Casino, SMS Cranfield and Thames Valley Police

Head of Sixth Form Jason Darvall said he was proud of a cohort that had always lived up to the school's values, adding that he was just as proud of the young adults they had become as he was of their results.

West Kirby Grammar School, Merseyside
This year's cohort recorded the highest average points score in the school's history, with the stats revealing that:
- 14.7% of all grades were A*, with 38% at A*/A, the highest proportion on record
- 65.2% of grades were A*–B and 85.1% were A*–C
- Twenty-five students achieved straight A/A* grades across three or more A Levels, and seven students secured three or more A* grades
The school noted particular strength across Maths and the Sciences, alongside Humanities, Languages, and Arts.

Rosebery School, Surrey
Rosebery School shared their highest results on record this year:
- 43% of grades were A* or A
- 73% were A*–B and 88% were A*–C
Headteacher David Lach said the results reflected the talent, resilience and determination of an exceptional group of young women, adding that he was proud of what they had achieved and how they had supported one another throughout their journey.

City of London School
The Class of 2026 achieve their best grades in over 5 years, with Head Mr Alan Bird congratulating the cohort on results he called 'highly deserved' and a reflection of their focus and hard work over the last two years.
The stats revealed that:
- 81.4% of grades were A–A*, with 41% at A*
- 94% of grades were A*–B

'Up Learn has helped my son achieve his goals – he said he found the approach different and fresh, making it a shake-up from school lessons. This meant that he found ways of learning that really worked for him. Communication with him and myself was very good because of Up Learn.'
